One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone in eastern Ukraine over the past day.
Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Spokesperson for ATO issues Oleksandr Motuzianyk said this at a press briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"One Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of the enemy shelling near Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk). He was given emergency medical assistance,” he said.
He added that Russian-backed militants launched six attacks on the Ukrainian positions over the past day. The Ukrainian troops didn't return fire.
