Militants launched 32 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 32 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas in last day.

“The enemy violated ceasefire in ATO area 32 times over the past day. As a result of the enemy shelling, two Ukrainian soldiers were killed, five servicemen were injured and one more was wounded,” the statement reads.

In Luhansk direction, illegal armed formations used 120mm mortars and small arms to fire at Ukrainian positions near Travneve and Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk).

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants used 82mm mortars and grenade launchers to launch attacks on the defenders of Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol) and Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk). The illegal armed formations used infantry weapons and machine guns to fire at Ukrainian positions near Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk) and Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk).
