Ukrainian army sustained no losses in ATO zone over past day

No Ukrainian soldiers were killed or wounded in hostilities in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone in eastern Ukraine over the past day.

Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Spokesperson for ATO Oleksandr Motuzianyk said this at a press briefing on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"No Ukrainian soldiers were killed or wounded in combat actions over the last day,” Motuzianyk said.

He added that Russian-backed militants continued to attack the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces using weapons prohibited under the Minsk agreements.

"But due to successful counter-measures, the Ukrainian army fully controls the situation in the ATO zone," Motuzianyk added.
