Ukrainian Interior Ministry to deepen cooperation with France in field of civil security

The Interior Ministry of Ukraine will deepen cooperation with France in the field of civil security.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Isabel Dumont discussed this issue at the bilateral meeting on Thursday, the Ministry’s press service reports.

"France and Ukraine are expanding cooperation in the field of civil security and in the area of ​​countering cybercrime. I want to thank you for your support and the significant contribution of France to the reform of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine," the minister said.

According to the report, the parties agreed to organize trainings with participation of the Ukrainian and French sides.

In turn, Ambassador Dumont noted that the Interior Ministry of Ukraine had managed in a short period of time to improve security situation in the country and gain the trust of the population, as evidenced by recent sociological surveys.
