Ukraine asks for defensive weapons to reduce losses among soldiers and civilians – Vice PM Klympush-Tsyntsadze

Ukraine asks the West to provide defensive lethal weapons in order to defend the country more effectively and reduce losses among the military and civilians.

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze said this, speaking at the 95th Rose-Roth Seminar on "Security and Stability in Ukraine and the Black Sea Region," an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We ask for support and solidarity as the Russian Federation understands only the language of force, and therefore the deterrence must be carried out exclusively from the standpoint of force. We are asking for defensive lethal weapons to more effectively defend ourselves and our land and to reduce civilian and military losses," Klympush-Tsyntsadze said.
