Lithuania to continue providing medical assistance to Ukrainian soldiers wounded in ATO area

In the course of the working trip to Kharkiv, President Petro Poroshenko and President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė had a conversation with ATO participants who had undergone treatment and rehabilitation in Lithuania.

The President informed that during the negotiations with Dalia Grybauskaitė the parties reached an agreement that additional 50 Ukrainian ATO participants would undergo treatment in Lithuania, the press service of the Head of State reported.

The President of Ukraine thanked the President of Lithuania for a very important assistance to Ukraine in difficult times. According to Petro Poroshenko, Dalia Grybauskaitė was the first to call and offer help in treatment and rehabilitation of Ukrainian warriors. “We really appreciate that,” he emphasized.

The President of Lithuania assured that her country is willing to further provide medical treatment for Ukrainian servicemen.
