Militants launched 69 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 69 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.

The tensest situation is observed in Donetsk direction. Militants used 122mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to shell Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk). Ukrainian positions came under 120mm and 82mm fire near Troitske (69km west of Luhansk) and Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk).

In Mariupol direction, the enemy used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions in Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) and Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol). Russian-backed militants also launched attacks on Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), using grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.

In Luhansk direction, Ukrainian strongholds near Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk) came under 82mm mortars.  Terrorists also shelled ATO troops outside Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Popasna (90 km north-west of Luhansk), Valuiske (20km north-east of Luhansk) and Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), using grenade launchers of various systems.
