Militants launched 100 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 100 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day.

In Mariupol direction, the enemy used mortars and heavy machine guns to shell Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol).  Militants also used infantry fighting vehicles and tanks to launch attacks on Ukrainian positions in Vodiane, Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne.

In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants used tanks to fire at Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk) and Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk). In addition, terrorists shelled Avdiivka (18km north of Donetsk), Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk) and Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), using mortars of different calibers, grenade launchers and small arms.

In Luhansk direction, ATO troops came under 120mm mortar fire in Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk) and Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk). Militants launched attacks on Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), using grenade launchers and small arms.
