Viktor Nazarenko: 67 border guards killed since ATO began

Since the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) began, the State Border Service has lost 67 border guards, 415 have been wounded and five more are missing.

Chairman of the State Border Service Viktor Nazarenko said this at a press conference on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Since the start of the Russian aggression, 67 border guards have been killed, 415 have been wounded and five are missing. Over 16,000 servicepersons and employees of our department have received the status of combatant,” Nazarenko said.
