Military intelligence records 28 Grads in Donetsk region

The number of shelling has significantly increased over the past week in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area, representative of the Main Directorate Vadym Skibitsky told reporters on Friday, Ukrinform reports.

He noted that the greatest threat now is posed by returning to the contact line multiple rocket launching systems.

"In particular we recorded 28 units of Grad MRLS near Amrosiyivka, Donetsk city, Makiyivka, Yasynuvata," military intelligence spokesman noted.

The officer also highlighted that militants’ sniper groups have become more active in the occupied territory of Donbas.

"According to intelligence reports, both first and second Army Corps formed sniper units with 30 servicemen," he said.

Training of snipers is supervised by Russian instructors at training centers in Ilovaisk and Luhansk.
