NATO to discuss practical support to Ukraine – Stoltenberg

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg confirmed that a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission at the highest level would be held during the NATO’s Summit in Warsaw, scheduled for July 8-9.

Stoltenberg stated this during a press conference at the NATO Headquarters, the Ukrayinska Pravda online newspaper reports.

"We decided to hold the NATO-Ukraine Commission as part of the Summit. It will be another summit, and the Commission’s meeting will be held within its framework. Thus, we will express our political support to Ukraine," the NATO Secretary General said.

According to the official, the Commission would discuss the practical support to Ukraine. In particular, NATO will continue to use the mechanisms of trust funds and joint military exercises.
