Militants launch 61 attacks on ATO troops in eastern Ukraine

The Kremlin mercenaries continue to use the banned weapons in the anti-terrorist operation area in eastern Ukraine.

The militants launched 61 attacks on the Ukrainian troops along the demarcation line over the past day. The tensest situation was observed in Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) and Taramchuk (30km south-west of Donetsk), where the terrorists applied 120mm and 82mm mortars.

The Ukrainian strongholds near Novotroitske (32km south of Donetsk), Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk) and Shchastia (23km north of Luhansk) also came under fire.
