Turchynov informs Duda on violations of security state in eastern Ukraine

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov has held a meeting with President of Poland Andrzej Duda and Marshals of the Sejm and Senate of Poland Marek Kuchcinski and Stanislaw Karczewski.

"Turchynov informed President Duda on violations of security state in eastern Ukraine, daily armed conflicts, wounded and killed persons,” Krzysztof Szczerski, the foreign policy adviser to the Polish president, said, own Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Duda and Turchynov discussed the forthcoming meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council at the level of heads of governments, which is to be held during the NATO summit in Warsaw in July.

Also, Szczerski stressed that Duda in the conversation with Turchynov assured that Warsaw would do everything possible so that the cooperation of NATO with Ukraine become more enhanced, and military and technical cooperation be implemented in practice.
