Militants launch 80 attacks on ATO troops in eastern Ukraine

The Russian-backed militants continue to commit armed provocations in eastern Ukraine. 

However, the situation in the ATO area remains controlled by the Ukrainian servicemen.

This is reported by the ATO press center.

"The militants launched 80 attacks on our positions over the past day. In particular, 28 attacks were launched on Mayorske [45km north of Donetsk], Pisky [12km north-west of Donetsk], Zaitseve [67km north-north-east of Donetsk], Trokhizbenka [33km north-west of Luhansk] using 120mm and 82mm mortars," reads the report.

In addition, the illegal armed groups used different weapons to fire at the Ukrainian military near Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk), Zolote (67km north-east of Luhansk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk)  and Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk).
