Russia defense minister inspects combat readiness of troops in occupied Crimea

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has arrived to check the combat readiness of Russian troops in Crimea on Tuesday.

The official website of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.

"Today, the Russian Defense Minister, Army General Sergey Shoigu has arrived in Crimea where he is going to check the organization of combat training and the progress of construction of objects for combat training and social infrastructure in the formations and units deployed on the peninsula,” a statement says.
