Some militants still hiding among locals in Kominternove

The main Russian-terrorist forces have left Kominternove near Mariupol, Donetsk region, although a small number of militants is still in the village hiding in the houses of local residents.

Spokesman for the Presidential Administration on the anti-terrorist operation, Colonel Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"According to the operational information, the small number of militants is still in the village, hiding in the houses of local people. The situation is under complete control of the ATO troops, who occupy the favorable position and have enough resources to respond to any enemy action," Lysenko said.

According to him, the main forces of the terrorists left Kominternove yesterday. The military equipment of the enemy has also been withdrawn from the village.

According to Lysenko, this happened after another visit and the demands of the OSCE mission, and due to the efforts of the Ukrainian diplomacy.
