Russia dispatches artillery vehicles to Crimean border

Russia has deployed the self-propelled artillery vehicles Nona-S at the border of Crimea and the Kherson region.

A local witness told Inter TV channel.

"At About 17.00 Kyiv time a column of about three dozen artillery vehicles Nona-S passed through the town of  Dzhankoy towards the Kherson region, he said.

The witness noted the artillery vehicles headed north on the highway Dzhankoy-Chaplinka 30 kilometers away from this district town of Crimea.

The background note - Nona-S is a Soviet artillery unit designed for gunfire support of airborne troops on the battlefield.
