Lviv armored vehicle plant increases manufacturing by 150 percent}

The state-owned company "Lviv armored vehicles plant", that is a part of the state-run Ukroboronprom corporation will restore one and a half times more military equipment than in 2014 by the year-end.

Manager of the plant Roman Tymkiv made a statement, the press service of Ukroboronprom reports.

"Through the end of October, the company repaired 68 units of military vehicles at the plant and 32 units were repaired by its mobile teams. Thus, the company has already exceeded the results compared with last year," said Tymkiv.

The company employees are working on ongoing repairs and restoration of T-72 tanks, armored repair and recovery vehicles BRM-1, engineering vehicles IMR-2 and minesweeping BIS-1 armored vehicles. The plant specialists also carry out repairs of tank engines, sights 1A-40 and spare parts for T-72 tanks.

As a note,  state-run company "Lviv armored vehicles plant" is not only engaged in the repair business, but it also manufactures vehicles. The plant manufactures armored personnel carriers "Dozor-B" as well as a fully modernized armored firefighting truck PMG-54-01.
