Russian crimes in Ukraine: 67,600 cases already opened

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the National Police have opened 67,639 criminal cases over the crimes committed by the Russians and their accomplices.

"Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, investigators of the National Police of Ukraine have initiated 67,639 investigations into the crimes committed by service members of the Russian armed forces and their accomplices in the territory of Ukraine," the press service of the National Police reports.

It is noted that the largest number of cases – 55,590 – was opened under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code (Violation of laws and customs of war).

As of March 1, the National Police opened 65,092 investigations into Russian crimes.
