Stalkers from Vilnius detained in Chornobyl zone

Ukrainian law enforcers detained stalkers from Vilnius in the Chornobyl zone.

"Three Lithuanian citizens, who illegally entered the restricted area bypassing the control posts for the purpose of extreme tourism and recreation, were detained" the press service of the Border Guard State Service reports.

It is noted that the residents of Vilnius had entered the territory of Ukraine in the established manner through the automobile border crossing point and penetrated into the Chornobyl exclusion zone, where they were detained by law enforcers.

The Lithuanians were held administratively liable for violating the requirements of the radiation safety regime in the area exposed to radioactive contamination.
