35 judgments delivered in cases over crimes against Euromaidan activists

As of today, 35 judgments were delivered in the cases over crimes against Euromaidan activists.

Head of the Special Investigations Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine Serhiy Horbatiuk said this to journalists in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"As of today, notices of suspicions were served against more than 340 persons. The indictments against 220 persons were submitted to the court. The only thing that gives rise to criticism is consideration of the cases in court. Out of 220 indictments, only 35 judgments were delivered. In fact, only one person, a so-called “hired thug”, was sentenced to real deprivation of liberty," Horbatiuk said.
