Ukraine’s Anti-Corruption Bureau signs memorandum with FBI

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding which provides for deepening of cooperation between the agencies.

This is reported by the press service of NABU.

"The document states that the law enforcement agencies will conduct parallel investigations related to international money laundering, asset recovery, bribery and corruption of high-ranking Ukrainian officials," the statement reads.

Director of NABU Artem Sytnik and FBI Supervisory Special Agent Matthew Moon agreed that the parties would exchange information and cooperate in the areas of mutual interest. Moreover, FBI plans to continue training Ukrainian detectives.
