Right Sector soldiers involved in knife attack at mountain resort

The knifing incident was reported Sunday morning at one of the ski resort Drahobrat in the Transcarpathia region. Eyewitnesses said that the men were participants of the Right Sector. 

They included a “cyborg” from the Donetsk airport and a member of the Crimea blockade. Initially the the Right Sector representatives of Transcarpathia denied the allegation. But at night the commander of the Right Sector Volunteer Ukrainian Corps Andriy Stempytsky nicknamed "Flyer" released a statement on the participation of the Right Sector soldiers in the incident.

He wrote a note on his Facebook.

Stempytsky has confirmed the engagement of the Right Sector Volunteer Ukrainian Corps soldiers in the bloody incident at the the ski resort.

"Today, in Drahobrat a conflict occurred between a group of the Right Sector Volunteer Ukrainian Corps soldiers and guards of the ski resort in Transcarpathia, which a certain number of locals joined too. As a result, a friend nicknamed "Khorvat" - the chief of staff (one of the organizers and the first official commander of the 5th Right Sector Volunteer Ukrainian Corps battalion, who was wounded in the battle with the invader), a friend nicknamed "Byes" - the commander of the 13th reserve battalion the Right Sector Volunteer Ukrainian Corps from Kyiv, who fought at the Donetsk airport, where he was wounded in the skirmish with the Russian special operations forces and three more soldiers are now detained," a statement said.

In addition, Stempytsky noted that during the day the circumstances of the incident were investigated.
