Russian intelligence services stole Ukrainian citizens’ personal data who planned to cross into ​​ATO zone

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) officers have uncovered a counterfeit web-based resource on the internet that by its design and content completely mirrors the SBU internet portal  "Register of permits for movement of persons into the ATO zone​​."

The press center of the SBU reports.

"Fake web-portal hosted at 0s.ovzha.xxxxxxxxxxx.erenta.ru. Links to the portal are actively promoted in Russian social networks and advertized as a proven chance to obtain permit to cross over the contact line. The domain name is registered by a Russian company, portal network hosting is also ensured by Russian resources," a statement said.

The SBU staff recorded stealing of personal data of citizens who submitted them to through a web application form on the fake website. According to operative information, Russian intelligence services and their hired experts were engaged in creating counterfeit web resource.

The SBU urges citizens to use only the official portal and encourages them to reach it through the official website of the SBU.
