War update: 215 clashes on front line, Ukrainian forces eliminate nearly 50 occupiers in Pokrovsk sector

During June 3, 215 combat engagements took place between Ukraine's Defense Forces and Russian invaders. The Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors each recorded 27 enemy attacks.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook in its operational update as of 22:00, Ukrinform reports.

"Since the beginning of the day, 215 fierce combat engagements have occurred along the front. During the day, the aggressor launched two missile strikes (firing two missiles) and 48 air strikes, dropping 149 guided aerial bombs on Ukrainian territory. In addition, the invaders used 6,218 kamikaze drones and carried out 4,689 attacks with various types of weapons against our positions and peaceful towns and villages," the statement said.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, two combat engagements took place during the day. The enemy carried out two air strikes using five guided bombs and shelled Ukrainian positions and border settlements 44 times, including two attacks with multiple-launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian forces launched six assaults near Starytsia, Lyman, Vilcha, and Okhrimivka. Three clashes were still ongoing at the time of reporting.

In the Kupiansk sector, the invaders attacked three times near Novoplatonivka, Podoly, and Kupiansk. One engagement remained active.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 14 enemy attempts to advance near Derylove, Drobysheve, Stavky, Lyman, Ozerne, Novoselivka, and Yampil. Three clashes were still underway.

In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces completely thwarted 11 enemy attempts to break through near Rai-Oleksandrivka, Kalenyky, Kryva Luka, and Zakitne.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped one enemy offensive action near Pryvillia.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces successfully repelled ten enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, and Illinivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, fighting remained highly intense, with 27 enemy attacks recorded. Russian troops attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses near Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Novomykolaivka, Novopavlivka, and Udachne. Three engagements were still ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, 49 Russian troops were eliminated in this sector today, while another 14 were wounded. Ukrainian forces neutralized one enemy drone command post, six vehicles, and five pieces of special equipment. They also damaged five vehicles, five pieces of special equipment, and another drone command post. In addition, 227 enemy drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed by electronic warfare systems.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the occupiers attempted to advance ten times near Vorone, Voskresenka, Sichneve, and Ternove. One clash was still in progress.

In the Huliaipole sector, 27 enemy attacks were recorded near Pryluky, Dobropillia, Tsvitkove, Solodke, Vozdvyzhivka, Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, Varvarivka, Huliaipilske, and Charivne. Five battles were still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv sector, enemy units attempted four times to penetrate Ukrainian defenses near Shcherbaky, Bilohiria, Nesterianka, and Stepnohirsk. One engagement continued.

No offensive actions by Russian forces were recorded in the Prydniprovske sector.

In other parts of the front, the situation remained under control, with no significant changes in the operational environment, the General Staff concluded.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to June 3, 2026, amount to approximately 1,368,040 personnel.
