Third Army Corps take occupied parts of Luhansk region under drone control
Fighters from the unmanned systems battalion of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade struck the logistics of Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, reaching the "Izvaryne" checkpoint itself - more than 205 km deep into enemy-controlled territory.
According to Ukrinform, the Third Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, also publishing a corresponding video.
During the operation, drones from the 3rd Assault Brigade hit armored vehicles and ammunition depots of the Russian army.
Corps commander, Brigadier General Andrii Biletskyi, said: "In response to the enemy's claims of the complete capture of Luhansk region, we announce an operation to control logistics routes in Luhansk region and Eastern Slobozhanshchyna. Luhansk, Starobilsk, Alchevsk, Brianka, and Kadiivka are now under the control of the UAVs of the Third Army Corps."
As Ukrinform reported, fighters from the HUR continue to block the "Crimea-Donetsk" land corridor and destroy Russian occupiers' equipment deep in the rear.
