One killed, 16 injured in massive overnight attack on Kyiv

One person was killed and 16 others were injured as a result of a massive overnight attack on Kyiv.

Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"As of now, 16 people have been injured as a result of the attack. Unfortunately, one person has been killed," the statement reads.

In Kyiv, a whole section of an apartment building was destroyed as a result of a Russian ballistic missile strike. People are believed to be trapped under the rubble.

Rescue operations are also ongoing at the site of a strike in the Darnytskyi district, where people may still be under debris.
