Damage after Russia's overnight attack in Kyiv region reported in three districts
In the Kyiv region, nine facilities were damaged as a result of a Russian drone attack during the night of May 12 in the Fastiv, Vyshhorod, and Bila Tserkva districts.
According to Ukrinform, Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the regional military administration, reported this on Telegram.
According to him, a kindergarten in the Kalynivka community of Fastiv district was damaged.
As a result of the enemy attack, a truck was damaged in Vyshhorod district.
Agricultural machinery was damaged in Bila Tserkva district.
Overall, nine facilities in the Kyiv region were damaged: one apartment building, five private homes, a kindergarten, a vehicle, and agricultural equipment.
Relevant services continue to document and eliminate the consequences of the attack. Rescue workers, law enforcement officers, utility services, and community representatives are working at the sites.
During the night, drone interceptors operating within the "Clear Sky" project destroyed 40 targets.
Since the launch of the project, interceptors have destroyed more than 3,200 enemy targets.
As Ukrinform previously reported, Ukraine's air defense forces neutralized 192 out of 216 drones launched by Russian forces against Ukraine from the evening of May 11.
