Russian attack damages homes and vehicles in Zhytomyr

Residential and utility buildings, as well as vehicles, were damaged in Zhytomyr on May 12 as a result of a Russian air attack.

Vitalii Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy continues attempts to destroy civilian infrastructure in the Zhytomyr region. Today, as a result of the air attack, several residential and utility buildings, as well as residents' vehicles, were damaged in Zhytomyr," the official wrote.

According to preliminary information, there were no fatalities or injuries.

Special services and law enforcement agencies are inspecting the area to identify explosive devices and document Russia's crimes.

Earlier reports said that a kindergarten caught fire and residential buildings were damaged in the Kyiv region following an overnight Russian drone attack.
