Russian drone attack in Kherson injures city council employee

Russian forces targeted the vehicle of a city council employee in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson with a drone.

Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"At around 08:40, a Russian drone attacked the car of a 53-year-old employee of the Kherson City Council in the Korabelnyi district. He has been hospitalized," he wrote.

According to Shanko, the man sustained a blast injury and a thigh wound. Doctors are providing the victim with the necessary medical care.

On May 4, trolleybus services in Kherson were temporarily suspended for about a week due to the deteriorating security situation.
