President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the command post of the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade, where he spoke with servicemen about the needs of the units and presented state awards to Ukrainian defenders.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky shared details of the visit on Facebook and released a video.

“There were reports on the operational situation in the brigade’s defense area, the training of fighters, and the development of the unmanned component, in particular the importance of increasing the number of UGVs and their capabilities,” Zelensky said.

“Platforms capable of performing combat missions – so that warriors don’t have to – and thereby saving lives should receive the necessary support,” he added.

Issues related to armored vehicles and artillery ammunition were also discussed, with Zelensky noting that those matters would be worked through together with the military command.

“I thank the warriors for defending Ukraine. The whole world respects us. Above all, thanks to the strength of our warriors. This is a great achievement for Ukraine,” the president stressed.
