Ukrainian drones strike Kasta radar, multiple Russian military assets

In coordination with the Deep Strike Center, units of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces carried out a series of attacks on May 3-5 against key Russian military assets.

The USF's press service announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Ukrainian drones struck a Kasta radar system, personnel deployment sites, a field artillery depot, warehouses, and railway logistics infrastructure.

In particular, the 1st Separate Center hit a Kasta radar system (estimated to be worth around $60 million) in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as a temporary personnel deployment site and a locomotive in the Luhansk region, and a logistics warehouse in Donetsk.

Additionally, fighters from the 414th Brigade "Magyar's Birds" struck a field artillery depot, logistics warehouses, and a personnel deployment site in the Luhansk region. An ammunition depot in the Donetsk region was also hit.

As was reported earlier, Russia's total combat losses since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,336,120 personnel as of May 5, 2026, including 970 killed or wounded on May 4.
