Three people wounded in Sumy region due to Russian attacks

In the Sumy region over the past 24 hours, three people were wounded, and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of shelling.

According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram.

As noted, a 45-year-old man was wounded in the Znob-Novgorod community as a result of a drone attack, and a 54-year-old woman was wounded in the Krasnopillia community. In the Sumy community, a 39-year-old man was injured as a result of a UAV strike on the morning of May 2.

In total, over the course of 24 hours, from the morning of May 1 to the morning of May 2, Russian troops carried out 60 attacks on 43 settlements in 23 territorial communities of the Sumy region.

The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy, Konotop, and Shostka districts.

The enemy used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs.

Civilian infrastructure facilities sustained damage and destruction.

Over the past 24 hours, 14 people were evacuated from border communities.

Over the past 24 hours, the air raid alert in the region lasted 21 hours and 42 minutes.

As reported by Ukrinform, 12 people were wounded in the Sumy region on April 30 as a result of Russian attacks.
