Implementation of conscription plan: Havryliuk addresses parliament on traffic stops and body cameras at TCR servicemen
Decisions to block traffic by joint teams of the Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support and National Police representatives are made by local defense councils to implement the mobilization plan.
According to a Ukrinform correspondent, this was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ivan Havryliuk during question time for the government in the Verkhovna Rada.
“Regarding the stopping of [transport], I will answer directly: Decisions are made by local defense councils to implement the mobilization plan. You can contact the local defense councils to find out who heads them and clarify this issue there,” Havryliuk noted.
Responding to a question about the availability of body cameras for TCR groups, the deputy minister noted that, currently, not every employee has one, but each recruitment center has a sufficient number.
“Practically every territorial center of recruitment has an adequate number of body cameras. This does not ensure that every TCR employee has one, but every mobilization group has body cameras available,” the deputy minister explained.
As reported by Ukrinform, on April 30, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed laws extending martial law and general mobilization for another three months.
