Russia loses 1,180 troops, two air defense systems in war against Ukraine over past day
The total combat losses of Russian forces from February 24, 2022, to April 29 2026 in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,328,820 personnel, including 1,180 over the past day.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 11,894 (+2) Russian tanks, 24,486 (+3) armored fighting vehicles, 40,825 (+54) artillery systems, 1,755 multiple rocket launchers, 1,356 (+2) anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 4,579 cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 435 warplanes, 350 helicopters, 262,033 (+1,775) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 33 warships/cutters, 2 submarines, 92,231 (+245) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 4,146 (+5) pieces of special equipment.

As Ukrinform reported, on April 28, as of 22:00, there were 147 combat engagements on the front line.
