Ukrainian forces destroy Russian shelter on Kupiansk front

Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a Russian shelter in the Kupiansk sector of the front.

This was reported on Telegram by the 77th Separate Airmobile Naddniprianska Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to Ukrinform.

According to the unit, reconnaissance from the brigade identified a camouflaged Russian shelter in the Kupiansk sector.

The facility was being used to house personnel and support small assault groups attempting infiltration operations within the brigade’s area of responsibility.

After the coordinates were confirmed, artillery units carried out a strike on the target. As a result, the shelter was destroyed along with Russian personnel inside.

The military emphasized that eliminating such positions directly reduces the enemy’s ability to conduct reconnaissance, command units, and prepare assault operations.

The 77th Brigade stated that the situation in the sector remains under control of its units.

As previously reported, Ukrainian border guards also destroyed a Russian FPV drone launch site on the southern axis.
