Russian drone strike leaves four people injured in Kherson

Four people were injured in Kherson as a result of a Russian drone attack, three of whom are in moderate condition.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

“At around 16:40 in Kherson’s Korabelnyi district, four people were injured due to a Russian drone attack,” the statement said.

An ambulance team transported three women, aged 76, 47, and 84, to the hospital in moderate condition. They sustained shrapnel wounds, concussions, blast injuries, and closed traumatic brain injuries.

Medical personnel also treated a 42-year-old man at the scene. He was diagnosed with arm injuries, a concussion, and blast-related and closed head injuries.

According to the Kherson City Military Administration, at around 16:45, Russian forces also attacked a civilian car with a drone in the Korabelnyi district. The strike caused a fire, which was quickly extinguished by emergency responders. No casualties have been reported in that incident so far.

Additionally, the regional administration reported that a woman sought medical assistance after being injured in Russian strikes on the Korabelnyi district early on April 7. The 83-year-old resident was diagnosed with a blast injury and concussion and was prescribed outpatient treatment.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, an 89-year-old woman was killed in a drone attack in the village of Osokorivka in the Kherson region, while a 65-year-old man from Kherson was injured.
