Drone attack in Kherson region kills woman, injures another
In the Kherson region, an 89-year-old woman from the village of Osokorivka was killed in a drone attack, and another man—a 65-year-old resident of Kherson—was injured.
According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram.
“The Russians attacked an elderly woman in the village of Osokorivka, Novovorontsov community, with an FPV drone,” the statement reads.
As noted, at approximately 11:20 a.m., an 89-year-old local resident sustained fatal injuries after being struck by an enemy drone.
Also, according to the Regional Military Administration, at approximately 1:20 p.m., Russians attacked a man with a drone in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. At the time of the attack, the 65-year-old Kherson resident was walking down the street. He sustained shrapnel wounds to the head and limbs, concussion, blast injury, and a closed head injury. An ambulance crew transported the victim to the hospital in moderate condition.
The Kherson Regional Military Administration has published a video showing the aftermath of the shelling that occurred around 1:00 a.m.—Russian occupiers shelled residential neighborhoods in the Korabelny district. They targeted private homes, which sustained significant damage. Eyewitnesses report that several fires broke out. A car was also destroyed by the fire. No information about the wounded has been received so far.
As reported by Ukrinform, two people were wounded in the Kherson region over the past day due to Russian aggression.
