Russian drone attacks civilian car in Ruska Lozova, killing one person

A man was killed on April 9 as a result of a drone strike on a vehicle in the Kharkiv district.

The Kharkiv Region Police reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Today, a Russian FPV drone hit a civilian car that was traveling along a road in the village of Ruska Lozova. As a result of a direct hit to the vehicle's cabin, the 66-year-old driver was killed. The car was completely burned down due to the strike," the statement said.

According to the head of the Derhachi City Military Administration, Viacheslav Zadorenko, the strike occurred at approximately 11:25. The "Gazelle" vehicle was driving along one of the main streets of Ruska Lozova. The driver died at the scene. Police have opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As reported, on April 9, Russian troops shelled the settlement of Zolochiv in the Bohodukhiv district with multiple launch rocket systems. Two women and three children were injured, and a fire broke out.
