In Feodosia, in temporarily occupied Crimea, a fuel depot caught fire as a result of shelling during the night of April 8.
According to Ukrinform, Telegram channel "Crimean Wind" stated this in a post.
"At 01:00 in Feodosia, a fuel depot came under attack, and a fire broke out. Residents reported hearing gunfire and explosions," the statement said.
Later, the monitoring group of the channel published corresponding satellite images.
It is noted that within an hour, the fire became so intense that it could be seen from more than 20 kilometers away.
According to the Telegram channel, the head of the occupying administration of the peninsula, Sergey Aksyonov, at the request of Russian military command, ordered silence regarding the strike on the marine oil terminal.
This is already the third fire at the Feodosia fuel depot in recent times.
As Ukrinform previously reported, on the night of October 13, 2025, drones of the Security Service of Ukraine and Special Operations Forces again struck the Feodosia marine oil terminal and a number of electrical substations in occupied Crimea. As a result, 11 fuel tanks were damaged, 10 of them filled with fuel.
On the night of October 7, 2024, Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out a successful strike on the marine oil terminal in temporarily occupied Feodosia. A man-made emergency regime was introduced in the city.
