Ukraine’s National Guards destroy Pantsir-S system deep behind enemy lines
Pilots of the 23rd Khortytsia Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine have destroyed a Pantsir-S surface-to-air missile and gun system deep in the enemy’s rear.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by National Guard Commander Major General Oleksandr Pivnenko on Telegram, where he also shared a video of the combat operation.
“Another significant enemy target has been destroyed. Pilots of the NGU 23rd Khortytsia Brigade detected and eliminated a Pantsir-S air defense missile and gun system deep behind enemy lines,” he said.
Pivnenko emphasized that this is part of systematic work delivering tangible results: one more element of the enemy’s air defense has been eliminated, significantly reducing its combat capabilities.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, fighters of the National Guard’s special unit of unmanned aerial systems, Lasar’s Group, in coordination with other units, destroyed a Russian Palantin electronic warfare system on the Zaporizhzhia axis.
