Russian drone attacks ambulance in Kherson, injuring three medics
Russian forces used a drone to strike an emergency medical team in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, leaving three healthcare workers injured.
The Kherson City Military Administration reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"At around 19:00, Russian occupiers attacked an emergency team with a drone in the Dnipro district," the statement said.
According to the administration, a 48-year-old doctor, a 24-year-old paramedic, and a 42-year-old emergency medical technician were hospitalized with concussions, blast injuries, and closed traumatic brain injuries. Further examinations are ongoing.
The Kherson City Military Administration also reported that at around 18:00 in the same district, two medical workers were injured as a result of Russian shelling.
A 26-year-old male doctor and a 25-year-old female doctor sought medical assistance with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds. They will receive outpatient treatment.
As Ukrinform previously reported, on April 7 Russian forces shelled a private residential area in the Dnipro district of Kherson with artillery. A building and a vehicle caught fire.
