Russian attacks in Kherson region leave one killed, injure ten

In the Kherson region, one person was killed and ten others were injured as a result of Russian attacks on April 6.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"As of 17:30, it has been recorded that one person died and ten were injured as a result of Russian aggression," the statement said.

The prosecutor's office noted that on April 6, Russian forces attacked settlements in the region with rocket artillery and drones of various types.

In the morning, the occupiers shelled Kherson several times with artillery, resulting in the death of a 78-year-old woman. Four other women sustained injuries of varying severity.

During the day, Russians sent drones over one of the streets in the regional center – four civilians were injured, including a 15-year-old boy. On another street, a man was injured in a separate drone attack.

A woman was injured as a result of artillery shelling in the village of Zolota Balka.

In addition, private homes, school buildings, a theater, a shop, and vehicles were damaged.

The prosecutor's office has opened pre-trial investigations into the commission of war crimes (Parts 1 and 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As Ukrinform reported, on April 5, five people were injured in Kherson region due to Russian aggression.
