Russians attempt to cross Zherebets River in Kupiansk-Lyman direction – Trehubov

Russian forces are trying to cross the Zherebets River in the Kupiansk-Lyman direction, but these actions currently have no significant impact on the situation.

Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Joint Forces grouping, stated this in a comment to Ukrinform.

"As for the Zherebets, yes, there are attempts to cross it, but at present this has no significant impact," he noted.

According to the spokesperson, Russian troops have made similar attempts before, but without notable results.

"There is now a much higher density of UAVs in the area," Trehubov added.

As reported, over the past day, April 3, Russian forces carried out eight attacks on the Kupiansk axis in the areas of Borivska Andriivka and toward Kivsharivka, Novoosynove, and Novoplatonivka.
