Operation Task Force East eliminates over 6,500 Russian occupiers in one month, says Shapoval

Over the past month, the Ukrainian Operation Task Force East has eliminated over 6,500 Russian invaders, with nearly 4,000 more accounted for as enemy casualties.

This was reported in a comment to Ukrinform by Major Hryhorii Shapoval, spokesperson for the Operation Task Force East.

“According to preliminary data, over the past month, the group’s soldiers eliminated over 6,500 occupiers,” he said.

According to the spokesperson, the Defense Forces continue to actively eliminate enemy personnel in the eastern sector, which significantly weakens their combat capabilities.

“The enemy’s medical casualties amounted to nearly 4,000,” Shapoval added.

He assured that the invaders are suffering severe losses.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops from February 24, 2022, to April 3, 2026, in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,301,260 personnel, of whom 1,230 were killed or wounded in action over the past 24 hours.
