One killed and 16 wounded in Kherson region during day amid Russian attacks

In the Kherson region, one person was killed and 16 others were injured as a result of Russian attacks on the afternoon of April 2.

This was reported on Telegram by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, according to Ukrinform.

“As of 5:30 p.m., it has been confirmed that one person was killed and 16 others were injured as a result of Russian aggression,” the statement said.

The prosecutor's office noted that at 2:15 p.m. in Kherson, the invaders directed an FPV drone at a civilian vehicle, killing a 42-year-old man.

Throughout the day, 15 more people were injured in the regional center as a result of drone attacks and artillery shelling, including a 16-year-old boy and three police officers. Another woman was wounded as a result of enemy shelling in Komyshany.

In addition, private homes, apartment buildings, a farm building, and vehicles were damaged.

According to the prosecutor’s office, Russian troops attacked the Kherson region with artillery, mortars, and drones.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops have intensified drone attacks in the Kherson region, in particular increasing the use of drones on fiber-optic cables.
