Man killed in Sumy region after Russian drone explosion
A 75-year-old local resident was killed in the Znob-Novhorod community of Sumy Oblast when a Russian drone exploded.
Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“A 75-year-old man was killed in the Znob-Novhorod community. An enemy drone exploded as he approached it on the road. The man sustained fatal injuries,” he wrote.
Earlier, the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that in the Velykopysarivka community of the Okhtyrka district, around 4 p.m., a Russian drone attacked a motorcycle carrying two men. As a result of the attack, the 46-year-old and 40-year-old men were injured.
As reported by Ukrinform, in the Znob-Novhorod community of the Shostka district in Sumy region, a 20-year-old woman was killed and a 6-year-old child was wounded as a result of Russian artillery shelling on March 28.
