In Chernihiv, Russian drones damage food processing plant and railway infrastructure
In Chernihiv over the past 24 hours, on March 26, a food processing plant and transportation infrastructure were damaged as a result of Russian drone attacks, and a railway worker was injured.
According to Ukrinform, Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“Yesterday, Geran drones hit in Chernihiv throughout the day. Around 3:00 p.m., an attack was made on the territory of a food processing plant. A warehouse, equipment, and products were damaged. In the evening, drones hit the transportation infrastructure. A 36-year-old railway worker was wounded. He is currently in the hospital,” Chaus reported.
The head of the Regional Military Administration noted that Geran UAV attacks on the village of Novhorod-Siverskyi community destroyed residential buildings and farm structures. Firefighters extinguished the blaze.
In the Semenivka community, strikes hit a mobile communications facility and a boiler room.
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, Russian troops shelled the region 40 times over the past 24 hours, with 62 explosions reported.
