Russia loses 1,000 troops in war against Ukraine over past day
Russia suffered approximately 1,293,170 casualties in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and March 23, 2026, with 1000 soldiers killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 11,808 (+1) Russian tanks, 24,287 (+9) armored fighting vehicles, 38,863 (+68) artillery systems, 1,700 (+2) multiple rocket launchers, 1,337 anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 4,491 cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 435 warplanes, 350 helicopters, 200,611 (+2,222) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 33 warships/cutters, 2 submarines, 85,569 (+217) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 4,100 pieces of special equipment.
