Russian drone attacks Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv, injuries reported

On the morning of Thursday, March 26, the Russian army struck the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv with a Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicle, injuring one person.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"An enemy Shahed drone hit the Slobidskyi district. We are clarifying the details," Terekhov said.

Later, he clarified on Telegram that one person was injured.

"According to updated information, the strike hit the ground near residential buildings and a restaurant. At present, one injured person is known," Terekhov said.

About 10 cars were also damaged.

As noted by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, "A 65-year-old man was injured as a result of the enemy strike on the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv. The victim has blast injuries. Doctors are providing him with all necessary assistance."

As Ukrinform previously reported, the number of people injured as a result of Russian strikes on Kharkiv on March 25 increased to nine.
